Our 2025 Cultural Celebration: A Journey Through Community and Tradition

Another year has come to a close at KKCS, and what better way to celebrate the 2024-2025 school year than our Year End Cultural Celebration, on June 22nd!

This celebration showcases all of our past and present achievements, honoring the best of our teachers with awards, and our students with scholarships. Performances from our many talented kids and youth lit up the stage, demonstrating the incredible talent KKCS students possess!

City Councillor Ed Flynn, board members, and our principal all gave speeches that highlighted the many strengths of our school, and motivated us to continue pushing onwards and lift KKCS into new highs!

KKCS is full of great teachers, but we wanted to honor and award the best of our teachers, and they include:

• Nurturing Award 育才獎: Henry Yu 余文傑

• Nurturing Award 育才獎: Ximu Cao 曹肸牧

• Cultivation Award 耕耘獎: Kate Hui 許嘉欣

• One-Year Dedication Award  週年服務獎: Zhen Zhao 趙真

• Dedication Award 敬業獎: Jianhua Ding 丁建華

All kinds of scholarships were given out to the brightest of our students, whether it's for their excellent attendance or amazing academic achievements. Their hard work makes us proud to call them KKCS students!

And throughout all the speeches and awards, plenty of amazing performances lit up our stage for all of our parents and guests to see! Our performances included Lion Dance, Tang Poetry, Piano Recital, K-Pop Dance, Chinese Dance, Kung Fu Performance, and song recitals!

This concludes our little recap of our Year-End Cultural Celebration! We look forward to our next school year - a new year of learning and adventures, with another celebration to cap off the next school year!
