Teacher highlights:
Martin Wong is a high school junior at Boston Latin School and a proud graduate of Kwong Kow’s Chinese Language Program (Class of 2022). Driven by his love for table tennis and a strong commitment to the Kwong Kow community, Martin returned to launch and coach our pilot Table Tennis class in Spring 2025. He also leads the Table Tennis Club at Boston Latin School, inspiring fellow students with his enthusiasm and skill for the sport.
Martin Wong是波士頓拉丁中學（Boston Latin School）的一名十一年級學生，也是廣教中文課程2022年的傑出畢業生。因熱愛乒乓球並對廣教社區懷有深厚的情感，Martin於2025年春季主動回到廣教，創辦並擔任我們首屆乒乓球課程的教練。他同時也是波士頓拉丁中學乒乓球社的領導者，憑藉對這項運動的熱情與專業，激勵身邊同儕一同投入並享受乒乓球的樂趣。
Course highlights:
In this course, students will build a foundation in the sport by learning proper grip, stance, and footwork, as well as mastering basic strokes like forehand and backhand drives, serves, and service returns. They will also explore game techniques such as ball control, spin, rally consistency, and transitioning between offensive and defensive play. The class emphasizes tactics and strategy, including reading opponents, developing point-winning approaches, and playing both singles and doubles. Throughout the course, students will grow in sportsmanship, focus, and confidence as they participate in group activities and friendly tournaments, fostering camaraderie and a lasting passion for table tennis. Whether beginners or intermediate players, all participants will gain valuable technical skills and enjoy the dynamic, social spirit of the game.
在本課程中，學生將從學習正確的握拍方式、站姿與步伐等基本技巧開始，逐步建立乒乓球運動的基礎。他們也將掌握正手與反手擊球、發球與接發球等基本技術，並進一步探索控球、旋轉、穩定的來回擊球（rally），以及攻守轉換等實戰技巧。
課程同時強調戰術與策略的培養，例如判讀對手動作、發展得分打法，以及單打與雙打的應對方式。透過團體活動與友誼賽，學生在提升球技的同時，也將在運動精神、專注力與自信心方面獲得成長，培養團隊合作與對乒乓球的長久熱情。
無論是初學者還是有基礎的中階學生，都能從本課程中獲得實用的技術技能，並享受這項動感且具社交樂趣的運動。

Course cancellation and change policy:
Course cancellation or change may happen when the minimum student numbers or other requirements were not met. The students/parents will be notified by email within 72 hours of which KKCS and the partnering institution have decided on the cancellation or change.
課程取消政策： 主辦單位保有最終修改、變更、課程及取消課程之權利，若有相關異動將會在廣教學校與合作機構決定最終方案後七十二小時內以電郵形式通知學生與家長。
