Teacher Highlights
Amy Ko is a dancer trained in classical, ethnic, and contemporary Chinese styles. She began learning Chinese dance as a child in Chinatown, later became the leader of Verge Dance Company at Boston University, and now serves on the board of Dance Revelasian, a semi-professional Chinese dance company for young adults in the Boston area. Over the past 15 years, Amy has performed at hundreds of local festivals, dance competitions, and collegiate showcases.
Amy has been teaching at Kwong Kow for two years, but she also attended Kwong Kow as a youth and cherishes the opportunity to give back to the community where she grew up. She is passionate about teaching and sharing the richness and diversity of Chinese dance styles, and she is excited to help inspire and nurture the next generation of young dancers.
高雁婷（Amy Ko） 是一位接受過中國古典舞、民族舞以及當代舞訓練的舞者。她自小在華埠學習中國舞，之後在波士頓大學領導 Verge 舞蹈團，現任波士頓地區青年半職業中國舞團 Dance Revelasian 的董事。過去十五年來，Amy 曾在數百場本地藝術節、舞蹈比賽以及大學演出中表演。
Amy 已在廣教任教兩年，她年少時也曾在廣教學習，因此格外珍惜能夠回饋自己成長的社區。她熱愛教學，並樂於與學生分享中國舞蹈多元的風格，期待能啟發並培養新一代的年輕舞者。
Course Description
Step into the beauty of traditional Chinese dance in this weekend class designed especially for young girls. Students will learn elegant movements, storytelling through dance, and cultural appreciation rooted in Chinese folklore. This class nurtures grace, confidence, and creativity in a supportive and joyful setting.
踏入傳統中國舞的優美世界，這門週末課程專為年輕女孩設計。學生將學習優雅的舞姿、透過舞蹈講述故事，以及體驗根植於中國民間傳說的文化內涵。課程在充滿鼓勵且愉悅的氛圍中培養學生的優雅、自信與創造力。
Course cancellation and change policy:
Course cancellation or change may happen when the minimum student numbers or other requirements were not met. The students/parents will be notified by email within 72 hours of which KKCS and the partnering institution have decided on the cancellation or change.
課程取消政策： 主辦單位保有最終修改、變更、課程及取消課程之權利，若有相關異動將會在廣教學校與合作機構決定最終方案後七十二小時內以電郵形式通知學生與家長。
