Weekend Programs 週末班

Weekend Chinese Language and Culture Program

Kwong Kow Chinese School (KKCS) offers a variety of Chinese classes on weekends. The program intends to bring fun and interest in learning Chinese to our students starting at a young age. They will be introduced to many new Chinese vocabulary, and learn the basics of Pinyin. With progression, students will be able to read and write in Chinese, and be prepared to take more advanced Chinese courses in the future. Student learning is assessed through the use of a rubric that addresses competencies in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Typically, a student would take 9 to 10 years to complete the entire mainstream program.
